Blog Post Day 6: Second Day of Presentations

Presentation Day 2:

1.         ABC Island

c. I learned a little bit about the history behind the island, and the beauty of the island.

d. I actually did not get much at all from this presentation. I feel as if no research was actually done, just a lot of quick work, and copied a video. I want to know about the islands, however little information was given.

e. The video was probably the best thing, because it told more about the ABC islands.

f. Honestly, the video was more entertaining and informational than his actual PowerPoint.

g. Loved the video!

2.         St. Kitts and Newis

c. I learned that there is a big diverse culture if music, dance, and art.

d. What are examples of history of each island?

e. I liked the colors and images which were put into the PowerPoint.

f. I wish that more examples were given in the informational section of the presentation.

3.         Jamaica

c. I learned how Jamaica got its name from the beginning, which I absolutely loved. I didn’t even think to do that! It’s a very great start!

d. My only question that I had, was why didn’t you show more on the island in total? Only the tourist area was shown, and the features that it provided as entertainment.

e. I loved the images, and colors which were in the presentation. I also loved that there was information about the kind of culture that they had.

f. I wish that a little more history was given about the island itself, such as how the people got there, who colonized the island first, and so on.
